Xanadux: Linux on Your HTC Device
Apparently, aside from causing people to go crazy (ok, an exaggeration) with their many aliases, HTC devices are unabashedly powered by Windows Mobile. And why not, when Microsoft gave the Taiwanese manufacturer its big break?

But all may not be lost for Linux lovers. Project Xanadux aims to make certain HTC devices run Linux. That doesn't sound easy though:

The HTC phones are much more closed to developers than any other PDA platform and many challenges lie ahead.

If you'd love to see Linux work on your HTC gadget, you'll have to wait a while. Seems none of the units have been completely ported yet.
