Windows Mobile Welcomes Google Maps

Looks like Google Maps now has most smartphones and PDA phones covered. First it went mobile via Java MIDP2. This included a lot of Symbian smartphones. Then, somewhere along the way, a Palm OS version was made for the Treo 600, 650, 680 and 700p.
Looks like the circle's complete. The Official Google Blog recently announced (somewhat indirectly) that Google Maps is now available for Windows Mobile. As long as you use Windows Mobile 2003 or higher, the downloadable installer will work on your smartphone or PDA.
Unfortunately, like its desktop counterpart, Google Maps provides only detailed data for a few areas, mainly in the US. That's sure to change as Google rolls-out new features.
