With the MK1011GAH (a boring name that will surely change, if marketing people get the chance), Toshiba has once again pushed the limits of what a 1.8" MicroDrive can store. The manufacturer plans to unveil this development in January, during the upcoming CES.
Surely this improvement will end up on smartphones and PDAs, if only to satisfy users who are increasingly clamoring for more memory on their handhels. You can never have enough space.
Thanks to PDA Street for the heads up.
Edit: Once massive mobile storage is commonplace, users will probably enjoy mobile broadband a lot more.
