Ok, so Future Watch reports on a new BenQ-Siemens phone, a potential competitor that would "taste better than the LG Chocolate." Aside from a white, iPod style finish, this Oxyon Slider Phone will supposedly feature:
-A VGA display (640x480 pixels on a handheld?!? That's a lot!)
-A 3 Megapixel Camera
-Expandability via a microSD slot
Expect more info on this device from The Smart PDA, if and when it becomes available.
Bad News: The weird, slide-out numeric keypad arranges the buttons into a single column, meaning using this phone will take a lot of getting used to. Looks like nothing was learned from the SX1.
The Really Bad News: Benq-Siemens is applying for bankruptcy protection!
