Take a look at Just Another Mobile Phone Blog and you'll see why: assumptions can be derived from the most subtle of clues. Such is the case of the supposed existence of an 8GB Nokia N95 derived from an XML file.
That's not to say that JAMP is wrong. Such hints have been proven to be good leads, which is why news sites and the blogosphere grab these up in the first place.
Personally, I do hope this N95 is real or becomes real. For a kitchen sink model that has loads of features, 120MB is simply too small. Especially if you plan to use primarily for media playback.
But that's not important. The point is, is today's 24/7 newscycle, companies who have secrets to protect will have to be more ardent in doing so. Because once the word is out, it's all but impossible to keep everything under control.
