Why I'm Getting a Thin Smartphone When I'm More Wealthy
(Image from philippines.hvu.nl. Not me I'm afraid)

Last Saturday, I attended a wedding. Fellow bloggers Marc and Gail were tying the knot, and I was in full Filipino regalia. Problem was, my loaned 7650 was bulging out of my pocket, and while it wasn't giving the Wrong Impression, it stood out in my generally sleek look.

On the other hand, the RAZR of my lovely date Sasha easily fit in her handbag (as you know women love using tiny bags for formal occasions). So I realized the appeal of mobiles like the Samsung Ultra Edition model line. The right formal clothes flaunt your assets while minimizing the flaws. This usually involves tailoring clothes to create long flowing lines that fall over your body in an appealing way. A bulge will simply ruin that.

There's no point in spending money and time to dress up, when your smartphone or PDA isn't thin enough to be totally out of sight. And with manufacturers developing even thinner components, we're slowly getting there.
