Why Anorexic Smartphones are Best for Emergencies
Oct 18, 2007

Think about it: with their increasingly thin profiles (newer models are thinner than a centimeter), smartphone anorexia may turn out to be a lifesaver.
It's quite possible to fit a Nokia 2630 or a Samsung SGH-D830 inside a secret apartment, most probably hidden inside the sole of a shoe. If an emergency manages to keep someone away from any phone whatsoever, they can pull out the secret phone and call for help.
Of course, it's important that the hidden phone stays charged. Maybe a built-in charger in the secret compartment, drawing power from the owner's movements, can be a solution?
