The Treo 680 launch featured a series of truly informative presentations, based on Palm's own white papers. Here's what I think the presenters, Representatives from Palm Singapore, were trying to stress:
- Most Treo users use all of the smartphone's features; meaning that Palm has created a gadget where nothing built-in is wasted.
- These features are used because it's easy to do so; Palm concentrates on user-friendliness, rather than offering every function under the sun.
- The productivity gains allowed by the Treo allow the smartphone to pay for itself as quickly as 37 days.
Yes, these points are about the Treo 650, not its newer brother. But since the 680 is basically a 650 in a thinner, antenna-less package (and a lower capacity battery I'm afraid), perhaps they also apply.
