Whitehouse is particularly concerned about "a situation where you could conceivably 'broadcast' exploits to a geographic area." Hopefully, the people over at Virgin Mobile are aware of the potential vulnerabilities listed by the writer.
Thanks to Geekzone for the heads-up.

@Cary: What do you mean?
@Richi: I'm not entirely sure how DAB works. How are they able to stream video over cellular networks?

Extreme Mobile TV and video sharing
Extreme sports mobile TV company Yamgo (www.yamgo.com) has signed a deal with Tom Horn to launch a WAP-based mobile video sharing service.
Yamgo customers can create their own mobile video page and upload videos directly from their mobile phone(http://yamgo.mobi)
or over the web (www.yamgo.tv).
Videos can be shared with friends on any mobile network (with WAP access).

Speaking of DAB digital radio, Symantec's Ollie Whitehouse alerts us to the standard for tunneling IP over DAB, ETSI ES 201 735 [PDF]. This sounds extremely cool for broadcast or multicast data to inexpensive devices.
