And like Civilization Mobile, Navy Challenge is based on a classic. Who doesn't remember playing battleship with a friend, crossing out squares on graphic paper? Set in World War II, Navy Challenge is a turn-based game, and "a darn good Battleship clone." The rules are still the same: You and your opponent (AI) lay out ships on a 10x10 grid. You then take turns calling out grid squares, firing again if you've scored a hit. First player to sink the other's ships wins.
Presentation seems nice, with an isometric POV that's way better than boring top-down. Mobile Game Faqs has a list of supported devices, and you can download the game from Partymob.
A Crippling Caveat? IGN criticizes the game for having spotty AI, and not allowing two people to play against each other.
