Twitter Through the Mobile Web, Not SMS

For some reason, answering Twitter's question ("what are you doing?") is becoming real popular. So much so that people are happy that they can post updates on the microblogging platform through SMS. And many do.

But if some Twitters out there don't consider texting their thing (they probably miss surfing with a browser), the service blog has some good news. Head over the m.twitter.com and you'll enter a version of Twitter built for the small screens of smartphones and PDAs. And of course, this is all done over a data plan, so you'll have to watch your consumption.

So it's a lot easier to Twit your life to the whole world. It's still perplexing though why many people would consider their lives interesting to share with potentially complete strangers.
