Turning Your Smartphone or PDA into a Real Photo Album
With so many smartphones and PDAs suffering from a lack of responsiveness, as I mentioned in a podcast with Jayvee of Cellphone9, showing photos on your gadget can be quite time-consuming. It takes up to a full second to show large pictures, even though the screen is one-fourth its size.

But according to SplashData, SplashPhoto is "Up to 80% faster than most built-in photo applications." And almost everyone's invited to the party, with versions available for the Palm OS, Windows Mobile Pocket PC and Smartphone Editions, and both the Symbian UIQ and S60.

The Good News: At least someone likes the program.
The Bad News: Unfortunately, looks like RIM, newer S60 3rd Edition, and other devices will be left out.
