Ah yes, the problems with popularity.
Same case with the Apple iPhone. Thanks to its popularity, which represents the largest commercial product launch in recent history, enterprising troublemakers have taken notice, and are directing their attacks to buyers of the iPhone online.
If a certain trojan named Aifone.A is on your computer, it will redirect you to a phony site when you try to visit iPhone.com. This bogus site, which mimics the real iPhone site, is designed to catch your bank or credit card details for nefarious purposes.
So, if you're looking to buy the iPhone online, watch out. Make sure everything's legit, and cancel the transaction if you sense something's wrong. It also helps to regularly scan your PC for any badness that might be present. Check out pandasoftware.com for more details.
