Treo 750v Coming to Cingular Wireless

It's official. A press release from Palm announces that tomorrow (January 8, 2007), Cingular Wireless will begin selling the Treo 750v for $399.99 (after rebates) and a two-year lock-in. You'll be able to get it from "at Cingular Wireless retail stores, online at www.cingular.com and through Cingular's B2B sales organization."

As promised, Vodafone has finally lost exclusivity on the Treo 750v, with Cingular Wireless becoming the first non-Vodafone partner to release the Windows Mobile 5 palm smartphone.

What I find particularly exciting is that Cingular users won't need a hack to enjoy HSDPA. Buyers can avail of a "a free upgrade…to Cingular's supercharged HSDPA technology."
