Transform your iPod touch/iPhone into a VoIP phone


The iPod Touch and iPhone are similar looking devices sharing a number of similar features. However the iPod touch is basically a multimedia device whereas the iPhone is a Smartphone sharing both mobile phone and a multimedia features.

If you are an iPod touch user and you want to make & receive calls on your iPod touch just like an iPhone then here is good news for you. You can use a free application called SIP-VoIP that enables you to transform your iPod touch or your iPhone into a VoIP device and make cheap calls to your friends and family.

Here's is a summary of how you can do this using the SIP-VoIP application.


1. Unlock/Jailbreak your iPod touch or iPhone. Read more on how you can do this here .
2. Get a Touchmod mic for your iPod touch if you haven't already got one.
3. Download the free SIP-VoIP application. Get it here
