TinyTube.net Now Supports Streaming Video
In case you forgot, TinyTube.net allows smartphone or PDA users to watch YouTube videos. Think of it as a mobile version of the video website, complete with a layout designed for small displays.

Before, TinyTube.net worked by converting the YouTube video into .3GP format, then downloading it onto your mobile gadget. Now it seems that you no longer need free space to watch that hot viral video; TinyTube.net is now streaming capable, thanks to its use of the RTSP. This means you no longer have to download the entire video before you can start watching it.

The feature is welcome, since with a mobile broadband connection the wait won't be long. If the website's programmer is open to suggestions though, perhaps he can still allow users to download the videos? Maybe users will enjoy having the option to watch the streamed or downloaded video.

I'm sure the programmer will have no problem making this possible. The streaming capability is actually the second feature he's implemented over the last two weaks, after the addition of the top video lists.
