Palm CEO Ed Colligan has posted a short and sweet response on the Palm Corporate Blog, answering the letter of Peter Rojas:

Although I can't say I agree with every point, many are right on. We are attacking almost every challenge you noted, so stay tuned. Let's remember that it is very early in the evolution of the smartphone and there is enormous opportunity for us to innovate. We have only just begun to fight!

Obviously, the response is short because timeliness was more important. Let's see if and when Palm follows-through on their initial response.

On another note, this is a perfect example of a corporate blog helping both the company and its customers, by facilitating quick communication between both parties.
