More than two weeks after the launch of the Nokia N95 in Europe, the Finnish manufacturer's latest do-it-all gadget is now available in America for $750.
The jaw-dropping sticker price is due in part of American service operators' unwillingness to subsidize the Symbian S60 smartphone. The apparent lack of models supported by a two-year contract continues to be Nokia's weakness in the North American market, despite its clear commitment to increase its presence.
To recap, the Nokia N95 is a phone. And a media player. And a 5-megapixel camera. And a connectivity champ. You get the idea. The N95 is available online, and at Nokia's stores in New York and Chicago.
