The Nokia Charger Rack

Saw this at a local Wendy's. A Nokia charger rack
(or is that charging station?), with enough space for four smartphones, or a public version of the Power Station Organizer. Providing freely available electricity for cellphones in many establishments is surely a useful service, given that 160 million texts are sent daily in the Philippines. But I wonder if users are willing to leave their smartphones in such an open receptacle, given its easy access to anyone. Like a silent and unassuming thief.
I do know that someone running out of juice will consider this a lifesaver. And it does provide an incentive for people to stick with Nokia, since the cables will only power smartphones from the Finnish manufacturer.
