The Nokia 7900 Prism is Probably the First Mainstream OLED Phone

Well, maybe not mainstream, since the price tag of this fashion-oriented smartphone might put it out of reach of the general public, but the nokia 7900 Prism features a 16-million color QVGA OLED display. OLED, a much talked about but still rare technology, promises longer display life and less battery consumption. Check out the Prism's other specs:

  • UMTS, quad-band GSM, Bluetooth and USB connectivity
  • 1GB internal memory
  • 2 megapixel camera
  • FM radio
  • Music player
  • Basic organizer functions
  • 850 mAh battery
  • For yet another fashion phone, Nokia pays more attention to style than substance. A formula that has found a significant market so far.
