It's been causing a lot of buzz lately, with LG claiming a one-up on Apple and its iPhone. But once the prada Phone (basically a more expensive version of the LG KE850) hits the streets on March 22, we'll find out if has something going for it aside from the brand name. Apparently, "Prada" is enough to make a $700+ sticker price seem reasonable.
Some specs for your convenience.
- Tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900 Mhz) smartphone
- 240 x 400 pixel touchscreen display
- 8MB internal memory
- microSD slot
- 2 megapixel camera
- Plays MP3/ACC/WMA, and FM radio
- Document viewer (.doc, .ppt, .xls, .pdf, .txt)
It's obvious that this mobile is all about fashion, not the cutting-edge.

This phone did create some buzz because of the Prada brand, the extremely high price tag, and also as a competitor to the upcoming Apple iPhone. I believe most people don't even know the Prada phone exist. Will they be selling it in the States?

It'll be released in Europe first. And I don't see it coming out in the US.
