The LG KC1 Features Wi-Max and an 806Mhz Processor

It's a good thing spec units are in English. Otherwise, for the LG KC1, I wouldn't be able to understand this:

  • Display: 2.8 inch QVGA
  • CPU: Marvell Monahans @806MHz
  • OS: Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 PPC Premium
  • Memory: NAND Flash 512MB, SDRAM 128MB
  • Battery: Built-in Li-Ion 1320mAh Rechargeable Battery
  • RF: CDMA EVDO and Mobile WiMAX, Bluetooth and T-DMB
  • Audio: Mono Speaker
  • LED: Charging, RF Indicator
  • Interface: 24Pin Connector (5V, USB 1.1, UART), 10pin Connector (Audio)
  • Expand Slot: T-Flash
  • Weight: 160g
  • Demension: W 60 X H 120 X D 16.9 mm

Yep, the LG KC1 enjoys a pretty cutting-edge feature set. From generous connectivity options (one of the first consumer devices with WiMax built-in), a speedy processor, and a high-capacity battery. Too bad it's only available in Korea, and that Altavista's Babelfish comes up with a pretty hilarious translation:

The omnipotence for the mobile Internet and pu with the phone $$ln
LG Electronics and premium and pu with phone come into the market

Fixed a focus in PDA function with pu with phone KC1 come into the market
Big jump it strengthened a multimedia function and a use bias characteristic and pu with the phone
The DM (Digital Media) enterprise headquarters PC enterprise department head mileage the commercial affairs which it gives, the KC1 reflects the demand of the customer,
With knows pu with only function the bay, it reveals PDA function big jump the product which it strengthens $$ln

Thanks to CoolSmartPhone for the heads-up.

Hope this can be one the first phones on Sprint’s roadmap as it’s going to roll out WiMax early next year. Currently, Sprint only carries one LG phone – LX160, and it’s a very basic model.
