Straight from the gals at Popgadget comes a waterproof smartphone and hilarious results from Google Translate. The SO902iWP+ has a 1.3 megapixel camera and can actually receive calls underwater.
Researching the phone's Japanese website, here are other features I came up with:
- A very bright screen, which is apparently hard to scratch ("The scar is difficult to be attached Ultra hard coat")
- Push to talk functionality ("With push talk function, you can converse, with...circle and member of the close friend group")
- Music playback ("It corresponds to also music playback")
- Formatted E-mail, which "actualizes pleasant mail compilation."
Sony Ericsson certifies this models' waterproofness up to a meter for only thirty minutes. This means the phone is only useful for clumsy people, who regularly drop their stuff into pools or even worse, toilets.
