About time Sony Ericsson integrated a 5 megapixel camera into one of their smartphones, if only to level up with the Nokia N95. That's 2592x1944 pixels of visual goodness. It's fitting that the K850 (full known as the Sony Ericsson K850 Cyber-shot gets first dibs, since the K model line is all about the camera.
But this isn't a one-dimensional gadget. Connectivity freaks will love the built-in HSDPA (only for the -i variant), Bluetooth 2.0 (A2DP-capable), Ir, and USB port. Audiophiles will like the FM tuner and music/video player. And it's good to see that the memory stick micro slot also accepts microSDs.
The Sony Ericsson K850 will come out before the end of the third quarter.
