In case you haven't heard, paul potts, a salesman from The Carphone Warehouse, recently won the first season of Britain's Got Talent.

This means he'll be performing in front of Queen Elizabeth II and the royal family this December 3, 2007. Mr. Potts wowed judges (including the notoriously acerbic Simon Cowell) and audiences alike with his opera voice and unassuming demeanor, moving people to tears with his rendition of Nessun Dorma.

Paul is also enjoying financial rewards. Aside from winning £100,000 from Britain's Got Talent, he's also signed a £1,000,000 recording contract with Simon Cowell.
