Rock Your Mobile's Smart Remote might keep that phone in your pocket. It promises full control over your S60-powered Nokia smartphone, via cable, Bluetooth, or GPRS.
I guess writing SMS is a lot easier on a full-size keyboard, and being able to see your phone's contacts on the PC is useful. I can imagine the setup now: Dad's 6630 in my pocket, while I work on my laptop, wearing a Bluetooth earphone.
Luckily, there's a trial version available for download. So after I check if this program really is useful, I'll let you guys know.
