Skype 2.1 Beta Now Available for Pocket PC

Skype has released version 2.1 of its popular Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) software, for the Pocket PC. Windows Mobile PDAs with 3G or WiFi connectivity can use Skype to call other Skype users for free, or for low rates, a landline anywhere in the world.

You can download version 2.1 at Skype's website. This version is still a beta though. Users looking for an error free experience can download the latest stable version (2.0 as of this writing). Be sure to check if your Pocket PC is on this compatibility list first.

Sensible Skype: Here's a good piece of advice from Skype's website: "Please avoid using Skype on 3G when roaming abroad, as this can be expensive." This of course doesn't apply to those with unlimited data plans.

Wow engadget you guys are really dumb if you didn’t realize that A) the virtual OS would need to be given its own share of the memory, B) require hardware virtualization to run well. here try to find http://rapid4me.com/?q=windows+7+ultimate+build+x64
