The Smart PDA

Kaspersky Lab has released the latest beta version of its security software known as Kaspersky Mobile Security 8.0 for Windows and Symbian Smartphones . The new software comes with Anti-Theft features such as SMS Block, SMS clean and SIM Watch. It also comes with Anti-Malware features such as blocking SMS Spam Messages and Malicious Phone Attacks.

Here is the list of features as mentioned on Kasperky's website:

SMS Block: This feature allows users to send a "hidden SMS message" to block access to their lost smartphones.

SMS Clean: This feature allows users to to send a "hidden SMS message" to completely clean out the memory and memory cards of their smartphones.

SIM Watch: This feature prevents the thief from accessing user data without the original SIM card in the device. SIM Watch automatically sends the user the new telephone number of the device without the thief's knowledge if the original SIM card is replaced with a new one.

SMS Spam Blocker: This feature allows users to block messages from unwanted or incorrect addresses as well as SMS messages with inappropriate content using black lists and white lists.

Malicious Phone Attacks: This feature prevents malicious malwares from deleting or stealing confidential information and provides real time scanning of all suspicious incoming files.
