Samsung has recently announced its two new environment friendly green phones, the W510 and F268. It has also announced that it would go green by 2010 by stopping the use of BFRs and PVC materials in its devices. Both BFRs and PVC cause a threat to the environment and their usage is prohibited by environment protection agencies. The Samsung W510 will be made of natural-dissolved bio-plastic that is made from corn starch. It will also have an anti-bacterial surface coating to minimize harmful effects on the human body and the environment.
The Samsung F268 on the other hand will be made free of BFR and PVC materials and will be marketed with environment friendly accessories.
