A cellphone video of Saddam Hussein's execution is making the rounds in Iraq, thanks to Bluetooth and flash drives. And of course, it has found its way online.
Privacy concerns aside (I've decided not to include a direct link to the video on this post, since you'll easily find it anyway), it's painfully obvious that the smartphone is a political tool. The video was captured in full view of guards and officials, so it's obvious its release wasn't accidental.
Update: AP reports that the "The person believed to have recorded Saddam Hussein's raucous execution...was arrested Wednesday." It seems American and Iraqi officials are afraid that the video, which showed people taunting the former dictator before his death, will turn him into a martyr.
