Rolling Stones Can’t Get No Satisfaction From RIM

Around two years ago, RIM and The Rolling Stones (yep, that aging rock band) signed a deal to come out with a limited edition Rolling Stones Blackberry.
Aside from the feasibility issue (I don't see how the positively old Mick Jagger and the new high-tech Blackberries would click), RIM apparently never developed the said handheld.
So, in the land of lawyers and lucrative loopholes, the band (or its reps at least) sued RIM. Even though RIM paid the band for the rights to use the name. Maybe the rock and roll group thought that the failed collaboration would've produced lots of income in royalties.
It's just a bit ironic that in the world of smartphones and PDAs–where all your data is saved for future reference–the various players can't seem to be clear about the agreements they make, even though the documents are saved in some filing cabinet. The Rolling Stones is suing for the failed production of their cash cow, while RIM claims they've terminated the contract last 2006 due to breaches by the band.
It would've been nice to see Rolling Stones-themed Blackberries. I imagine RIM would bundle "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" with each unit, since that song best represents the Blackberry owners' increasing addiction to data and connectivity.
