First off we start with a bit of bling. Last month Blackberry Forums featured a picture showing hip-hop artist Pharrell holding up his allegedly 18-karat gold Blackberry 8700. In fact, some people thought RIM was "goin' ghetto" with the "8700b," with "b" for bling.
Then, a few days ago, the amazing Boy Genius of Engadget shows up with a gold 8700g, 18-karat just like Pharrell's. On top of that, he scored a major coup by providing not only pictures of the new Blackberry Pearl, but videos of it in action as well.
