About a month after the unofficial ROM leaked online, palm treo 750 users can now "legitimately" install Windows Mobile 6 on their PDA phone.

The Palm website has all the necessary tools. This page provides a link to the download, as well as the necessary information to verify if your gadget is eligible for the update.

As always, back everything up before attempting anything as significant as an OS update. Surely Palm has minimized any bugs in the process, but it's better to be safe than sorry. At least, through this official update, there's no risk of losing your warranty.
