On Built-In Cameras and Saving Memories
Professional photographerslinks definitely won't go gaga over them, but the cameras integrated into smartphones or PDAs are getting better. While Palm stubbornly sticks with a measly VGA camera with the Treo 680, other manufacturers like Samsung consider 2.0 megapixels standard. And nothing beats the LG K920's 5 megapixels (pictured).

So it's a good time for casual photographers. Take a picture of your new haircut and send it to your boyfriend for example, or violate privacy even. But if some of your snapshots are really memorable, like a picture of you and your love, or a funny street sign, here are some ways to save your mobile snapshots for posterity:

It helps to get the most out of your gadget's camera. Whatever you decide to do, don't keep the only copy of those wonderful pictures on your smartphone or PDA. If anything bad happens to your gadget, you lose the memories forever.
