Most new Windows Mobile smartphones and PDAs come with Office Mobile pre-installed. But the weird thing is that they usually didn't support Microsoft's newest office suite, Office 2007.
But this download from Microsoft may change that. The Office Mobile 6.1 upgrade promises support for files saved in Office 2007 format. It only works on devices that already have a full version of Office Mobile installed.
It's good to see Microsoft catch up to its users' needs a bit. Palm OS users already had the ability to open office 2007 files through Documents To Go.
