Obama ‘Organizing for America’ App now available on Apple App Store
Good news for all Obama fans as an official App for President Obama known as 'Organizing for America' is availble now on the Apple App store. The main idea behind this App is to allow voters to connect with Congressional representatives to warm up for the US elections that will take place this fall. It will work on with the iPad, iPhone, iPhone 3G, 3GS, and iPod Touch.
Here are some main features of the App:
Users can get latest alerts & news on local events and opportunities
Users can view photos & watch videos related to the campaign
Users can share election news on social network sites like Facebooks and Twitter
Users can use the 'Call Congress' feature to contact their representatives in Congress
users can also use the Donation features to donate fund to the campaign
Members of the President's staff had the following to say regarding the launch of this application.
"We've had this in the works for a while. We're keen to put organizing tools in the hands of supporters wherever they are, especially given the conditions of this year's political environment."
"This is just the beginning of what we'll be doing with mobile this year," said another Obama staffer. "We have ambitious plans that we're excited to show as this year rolls on."
