Nokia Names New Phones Classic
Jun 29, 2007

Looks like Nokia already has a solution to the limited digit bug in place. And they've used it on the Nokia 6120 Classic. That's right folks, the Finns use the word "classic" to distinguish this new version of the 6120 from the old one.
It makes sense to add on a word, since Nokia already denotes a model's region through a letter suffix (like the 1110i, which was released internationally). What I don't get is the word itself. Aren't these smartphones the new breed? Why not just add the "classic" moniker to the older models?
Oh well, at least Nokia didn't choose really cheesy names like "extreme" or "2.0".
