Nokia E65 Review Round-Up

We first saw this Symbian smartphone a couple of months ago. And the general consensus is that the Nokia E65 is an impressive, if somewhat buggy, gadget.

Mobile Review: "So, at the end of the day, we have a well-packed device…"

HowardForums: "Overall rating in my opinion is 4.5 out of 5 stars, assuming that the bugs are bugs and will eventually be fixed." [emphasis reviewer's]

The Register: "If you are looking for a stylish phone that has all the basic applications required to keep you connected to the office, your work documents and not much more, the E65 is a solid choice."

All About Symbian: "Outside of the enterprise focus, the multimedia features are mediocre in comparison to Nseries phones, but they're still better than much of the competition."

E-Series Blog: "The great conference call capabilities, the long battery life, the support for enterprise email and the sexy, slim form factor was [sic] the deciding factors for me."

Here's a spec summary (GSM Arena as usual pulls through with the complete data) for your convenience:

  • Quadband GSM (850/900/1800/1900 Mhz) and UMTS (2100 Mhz) compatibility
  • Color QVGA display
  • 50MB shared internal memory, expandable via microSD slot
  • Bluetooth 1.2, infrared, USB, and Wi-Fi connectivity
  • 2 megapixel camera, media player, and document editor
