Motorola Dominates Wirefly’s Top Ten
Jan 12, 2007

Wirefly allows US surfers to compare the prices of smartphones and their plans. Based on its customers chose, the service recently released its own list of 2006's Top Ten Most Popular Cell Phones. And no matter the service provider, motorola smartphones dominate the list. Only the Sony Ericsson z520a/z525a (#4) and the Samsung T309 (#10) aren't made by the Chicago-based company. The complete list:
- Cingular RAZR by Motorola
- T-Mobile RAZR
- Verizon Wireless RAZR
- Cingular Sony Ericsson z520a/z525a
- T-Mobile Motorola v360
- Verizon Wireless Motorola v276
- Sprint Nextel Motorola i850
- Sprint Nextel Motorola i710
- Cingular Motorola v220
- T-Mobile Samsung T309
It's obvious that the RAZR is a hit among Wirefly users, capturing the top three spots. And the fact that over 90% of mobiles sold by Wirefly in 2006 is more proof that the camera phone is here to stay, and so is smartphone anorexia.
