While Apple has finally integrated a phone with it's award-winning iPod, Motorola is going the opposite route, mixing music players with its best-selling 4LTR smartphones. And its latest effort, announced at the CES, is the RIZR Z6.
This RIZR now works with Windows Media Player 11, apparently allowing for easy uploading of music. THe on-board 64MB of memory is pretty weak, but a microSD slot allows expansion up to 2GB. And you have standard Motorola Staples like a built-in 2.0 megapixel camera with a "camera light," USB 2.0 compatibility, and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP capability.
What may be interesting for you, dear readers, is that this smartphone runs on Linux, like the Motorola Ming.
Thanks to The Gadget Weblog for the heads-up.
