I'm glad I got a certain email from an "independent software developer." It led me to Mogoso, one of the most useful mobile services I've seen in a while.

That's because Mogoso is basically a mobile Amazon. From the catalog of products to the user reviews, Mogoso pulls them all from the popular online retailer. Compare these two pages to see for yourself. And of course, you can search for a particular product.

The difference is that all of these are presented in a minimalist, easy-to-download format (a la Skweezer). It's easy to see everything in your smartphone or PDA's small screen, and there's less data to download, meaning you won't have to use your wireless data plan as much.

Another difference is that Mogoso is only limited to listing the reviews. You can see the price of the product, but you can't buy it. Perhaps they can take a cue or two from mPoria?
