Through the frequent use of terms like "world" or "international", Mobal and Cellular Abroad (with the help of national geographic) are making technology a lot more accessible to John Q. Public.
There really is nothing special about the services-all concentrating on being able to make a call anywhere in the world-offered by the two providers because they're running on technology that's been around for quite some time: GSM.
What is special is how Mobal and CA are offering unlocked phones at really low prices, without any two-year contracts. And they also keep all that obscure jargon out of their marketing, which I'm sure appeals to the average consumer immensely.
