AVVENU uses the Internet to stream music files to your mobile. This means you'll need to keep your PC at home--or whatever computer is storing your music library--on to access your songs. The advantage with this approach is that as you add songs to your music library, you'll be able to play them on your gadget. AVVENU currently works on Windows Mobile 5 devices.
nuTsie on the other hand works for various Nokia, Samsung and Motorola smartphones. It compares the list of your songs in iTunes with music already stored on its servers. This means you don't have to keep a computer on, because the music is streamed from nuTsie itself. Unfortunately, if your music collection has obscure songs, nuTsie may not have a copy available. And if you add new music to your iTunes library, you'll have to update the list nuTsie has.
Personally, nuTsie seems like a more convenient service. You don't have to leave a computer on, meaning you'll save on the electric bill. And what if you're computer suddenly shuts down or loses power while you're away?
One thing's for sure though: if you use either service, make sure to get an unlimited data plan. Unless you like paying costly monthly bills.

Thanks for the heads-up Steve! I was wondering, where is AVVENU available?

Actually, the Avvenu Music service works both ways - you can listen directly to your home or work PC iTunes music via the web, or you can choose to store your iTunes playlists in Anytime Playlist storage (on Avvenu servers) for listening anytime, even when your PC is turned off.
When you specify an iTunes playlist to be stored in Anytime Playlists, any subsequent changes you make to that playlist will automatically be reflected in the Anytime Playlist version (they are sync'd in the background). The current beta service allows up to 250 tracks to be stored in Anytime Playlists for free.
When you're listening via a web browser, you can choose whether you're listening directly to your PCs, or to Anytime Playlists. When you're listening from a mobile phone, or when you're sharing music with friends, we automatically place this music in Anytime Playlists to ensure a good quality listening experience.
