Man Killed by Exploding Cellphone; Motorola Glad He Isn’t American

According to news reports, 22-year-old Xiao Jinpeng died after his motorola smartphone exploded. On June 19, Mr. Xiao kept his phone in his chest pocket, and was exposed to high temperatures prior to exploding. Jinpeng was killed when rib fragments pierced his heart.
While Motorola works with Chinese authorities to find the cause, they must feel really glad that this didn't happen back at home. Imagine the lawsuits they'd be facing if it was an American who died. Ah, the wonders of a developed and litigious society.
That's not to say Jenping's death wasn't tragic. We can learn from his fatal accident, such as where to place our smartphone or PDA phone. Women, who usually keep their gadgets in a handbag, are less prone to danger.
Not so for males. Now that it's obvious that keeping a phone in the chest pocket can be fatal, it's also no better to keep in the front pants pocket, for obvious reasons. Maybe the best location is on the rear pockets, since there's less to lose if a phone explodes near the ass?
Take note, this isn't the first time a smartphone exploded.
