Learn Why Sugar and Some Tape Can Remove Logos from Your Gadget

It's easy to understand why some smartphone and PDA owners would want their device's logo(s) to disappear. Thanks to teh internets, minimalism is currently the "in" thing in design today; logos can clutter things up.
Luckily, an enterprising soul over in a German forum discovered the unique properties of sugar. Aside from literally sweetening the deal, it can be used to rub off a logo without destroying the finish. And someone over at instructables.com has successfully tried it out for himself.
Before you jump for joy however, let me spoil the fun by saying this technique apparently only works on metal surfaces. You'll also need some tape, and replace it regularly as the rubbing wears it down. But, enough of that! Head over to instructables article, "How to remove Logos from your PDA / cell phone with sugar." Oh, and I take no responsibility for anything bad that happens.
Multimedia: Aside from text, instructables.com also has a video of the rubbing. It's almost useless, as it only lasts for a few seconds, but at least you'll know the speed and pressure used.
