Last Week on the iPhone, #6

Discussion on the iPhone has grown exponentially, and so are the number of pointless developments. Good thing we sort out the diamonds from the rough:

  • The New iPhone Ad. "All These Years" has been making the TV rounds for a few days now. But this iPhone ad stands out because of its straightforward copy, calling attention to the gadget's email attachment management,

  • Can Apple send iPhone updates remotely?. Mac Daily News cites an Apple knowledgebase article proving that updates can be sent to iPhones discreetly over the network. Presumably, Apple has made this feature safe from abuse.

  • Stylish cases for the iPhone. Pacific Design is marketing stylish iphone cases under the Chloe Dao moniker.

  • HarperCollins lets your preview ebooks through the iPhone. Visit the link with your iPhone, and you'll get to look through previews of their extensive ebook database.

  • Meebo on the iPhone. Visit the site on your iPhone browser and access all your IM accounts via one login.
