While watching No Reservations lasts night, a few people including myself were irritated when some woman was loudly blabbing on her smartphone. It was the quiet part of the movie, and her voice carried so well that we practically found out about the details of her upcoming medical appointment. Can't people learn to keep their voices down while talking on the phone in quiet places?
Maybe for next time I'll purchase the Brando Cell Phone Jammer. Retailing for $166, this palm-sized gadget will block the GSM frequencies you usually find on quad-band phones (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 Mhz). Of course, there are some legal issues involved. Where I live, the law isn't really clear about the issue, but in the US, the FCC prohibits cellular and radio jamming equipment used by non-federal parties (including state and local governments!).
But then, what big brother won't know won't hurt him right? I'm kidding. Honestly, the Jammer is a danger. Yes, it'll make us feel so good while we shut down those inconsiderate yappers, but what if we accidentally jammed an emergency call? And I can imagine some would jam others just for kicks.

I know this device is illegal but it could be useful to avoid that annoying people who insists in disturbing our silence... For the ones who also liked the idea, I've found a video (http://www.weshow.com/us/p/22051/cell_phone_jammer)
that shows some interesting information about cell phone jammers: its functions, how it looks like inside and the best part is an information we all want to know: how effective it is. Hmm... I liked this video, maybe these informations can be useful in the future...

I know this to be out of place. Please bear with me. I just want to create awareness by choosing the busy forum or the latest.
Do consider Dr. Martin Bautista for the next elections obviously (a senatorial candidate of āAng Kapatiranā together with Adrian Sison and Zosimo Paredes). Heās a 45-year-old gastroenterologist in the US who came home after 17 years. You can see from his background that he truly means service. For those who find him to be a hypocrite for working abroad, do understand heās a family man who needs to sustain his family, that he will be able to keep his independence by not relying on public funds to support his family. He helps his countrymen in his capacity but itās just not enough for there are millions of Filipinos. Itās a good start in Philippine Politics to have him and his party around.
I urge you to forward/text/inform all your contacts about them. I believe they only lack exposure thatās why Iām doing this. But I canāt do it alone so Iām appealing to everyoneās help. If all will inform their contacts about them and urge them as well to forward, we might hit a million.
We cannot afford to be indifferent now if we want meaningful change. Otherwise we only have ourselves to blame. BUT TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
