For desktop or laptop users, 8GB isn't even enough for the operating system! But for the mobile world, where gadgets, hardware, and memory capacities are smaller, 8GB is lot of space. 8GB can store a decent amount of music and video, lots of ebooks, loads of pictures, and practically all the office documents you need. SanDisk has started shipping 8GB versions of its microSD and M2 cards, for the current generation of S60 3rd Edition and UIQ 3-powered smartphones, taking possible capacity of these devices to 8GB while maintaining the flexibility to swap cards or transfer data in this way.
You can check out SanDisk's new offerings here. Just remember, lots of data capacity means lots of data to back up! And let's not forget how easily people lose those fingernail-sized microSDs.
