iPhone OS 2.01 now available: iPhone OS 2.01 is now available for download on iTunes. No Major changes have been included in the update but it fixes a number of common bugs that have been reported by iPhone users worldwide such as crashing apps and non responsive keyboard. Read more here
iPhone 3G Unlock Solution: Most iPhone users would be interested in having their iPhone 3G's unlocked so they can use it anywhere with any network. Well here is some good news. A company called USB Fever has released a hardware based SIM unlock solution for the iPhone 3G. You simply insert the SIM unlock in parallel with your operator's SIM card and you can use your card with your locked iPhone 3G. This solution however isn't free and will cost your $35. AT&T secures iPhone exclusive rights till 2010: AT&T has entered into an agreement to extend iPhone exclusive rights till 2010, which means that no other US Operator would be able to offer Apple's iPhone to its users till 2010. It also means that mobile users would have to switch to AT&T if they wish to get an iPhone 3G. Read more here
