Introducing the Sony Ericsson K850i: Nice Camera, Slim Profile

Kitchen sink devices are wonderful, since having everything you need in one gadget is always better than stuffing your pockets with an arsenal. But most of them (if not all) suffer from limited responsiveness, and while they do calls, web surfing, and time management pretty well, none have a camera worthy to make standalone counterparts obsolete.
The smartphone and PDA industry's best hope is probably Sony Ericsson's K-series. The model line does live up to its designation, featuring models that have nice cameras built-in. Hopefully, with the yet-to-be-released Sony Ericsson K850i Cybershot, continues that tradition. It's no kitchen sink, but the K850i supposedly boasts a 5.0 megapixel camera and:
- Tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900 Mhz) and UMTS (2100 Mhz) compatibility
- A color QVGA display
- A 2nd camera (640×480), probably for video calls
- A2DP (Bluetooth 2.0) and USB 2.0 connectivity
- Ultra-slim profile at 13mm
With such a thin form factor, this smartphone will surely make it easier for the citizen paparazzi to sneak a snapshot or two. Not to mention a video.
